PROMOTIONS, PROMOTIONS!!

April 15, 2012

Since I know we are still experiencing economic hardships, I decided to offer some ways that everyone can still get beautiful images and memories without breaking the bank. Here are 3 different promotions I cam currently running….

1. In honor of AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH, and as I begin to place a great amount of emphasis on filling in a huge gap in the kinds of photography services out there, I am offering a FUN DAY AT THE PARK for families of Autistic/Aspergers children. We can come up with a date together but this is a wonderful opportunity for you to get some great pictures of your lil’ one that usually only you get to see. The day is free of charge to you. All I ask is for you to sign a model release form so that I can promote this very special and meaningful service I will be offering to our communities. You can help me spread the word that EVERYONE can have BEAUTIFUL images and lasting memories that they deserve!

I am thinking of 2 dates that might work but if not, please let me know what dates work for you. Does April 20 (no school day for Springfield) or Saturday April 28 work for anyone?

If you are reading this and do not have a child with Autism or Aspergers, please forward onto anyone you know that does and would be interested.

I appreciate your support!

2. I am also promoting a new product: PHOTO NECKLACES. These can be photos of your loved one or a pet or anything you would like to show off and wear around your neck. They are 1″ square silver plated pendants on an 18″ chain. I can also make it with a 20″ chain. The introductory/promotional price will be $25.00 but will soon go up so order your’s now!

3. SPRING MINI SESSION We all want spring to be here ALREADY!! I decided to offer my first ever mini sessions for children only and ages 6 months (sitting on their own) up to 5 years. One child per session. If my normal session fees are not currently in your budget (which I completely understand), this is a great opportunity to get some fun shots of your kiddos from a professional. Remember they will NEVER be this age again!

Sessions are approx 30 min and limited to one outfit. I have red, pink and turquoise tutus for girls that you are welcome to use for your outfit selection. I also have baby leg warmers in fun colors. Very bright sun dresses would be ADORABLE just to throw out an idea for you. For boys, I have a lil’ red chair, red tricycle and stools to use that would be cute with overalls and bare feet.

All photos will be in studio and on a white background. Sessions must be paid for at time of booking and must be photographed by May 15th.

The cost will be $45.00 (30.00 value) and you will receive 1 5×7 (25.00 value) as well as the matching digipix (low resolution, watermarked image for use on facebook or computer screensavers or emailing…. photo cannot be altered in anyway or logo cropped out). You will get 5-10 images to choose from. So your total savings will be $55.00. That is an amazing deal!!

Don’t wait as times and dates are going to fill up fast!

Sincerely,

Get To Know Me

March 10, 2012

I LOVE my French Roast coffee in the mornings while I find out all the happenings on Facebook. Like many of you, I am guilty of spending too much time on Facebook but it is addicting. Especially when I am trying to read as much as I can about different aspects of marketing, posing, admiring other photographers and just plain trying to better myself. I have a passion for photographing newborns, childrens and special needs children.

I have 2 beautiful daughters and the most amazing husband. We’ve been married for nearly 20 years and I could not be any happier. He is such a great dad and a huge support system to me.

I am a native Texan so the summer months are what I look forward to. I love to be outdoors in my yard, playing with my 3 dogs, watching the girls swim in the pool and eating outside. I love to go camping with my family. Our favorite place to go is Bend (Central Oregon). We occasionally do some hiking and biking. Oregon is beautiful but I just wish we had longer summers!

Since I love to eat, I have always been big into exercise. I began running 12 years ago and although I have taken a few breaks here and there, I am still at it. I ran my first marathon in 2001. I do not have any plans to do another one but I do feel it is important to try to be active. My favorite sport is Volleyball. I played all 4 years in high school and 4 years in college and then on a city league for many years. I also enjoy watching college football. As long as the Oregon Ducks are not playing a Texas team, I root for them. :)

My favorite food to eat is EVERYTHING. I just LOVE to eat. If I had to chose, I would probably say that Barbeque is my favorite and then Mexican and seafood come a close second. I am not really a great cook but I do love to go out to dinner with my hubby (with kids sometimes).

Well, if you are still reading this, I am glad I didn’t bore you too much. I just wanted to share a little about myself as a person and as a photographer.

Cutest Face Contest Correction

February 29, 2012

It was brought to my attention that there was a discrepeceny with the ending date of the contest.  I goofed and thought I put March 31st for the contest to end but it actually said March 1.  I am keeping it at March 31 for the contest to end so keep those votes coming in and spread the word.  Sessions must be taken by April 31st, 2012.

Sorry for the confusion!  To YOUR advantage… more time to get those votes in.
